Woodpecker Beef

Ingredients ( 2 portions)

  • 400g Beef , cut into strips
  • 4 gloves garlic, cut into slices
  • 50ml beer
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp powdered bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp pickles, chopped
  • 2 tbsp black olives


Follow the steps

  1. Put a frying pan in a medium heat and start by frying the sliced garlic.
  2. Add the beef and cook to medium-rare.
  3. Join in the bay leaf powder, salt and pepper for seasoning and the tbsp of mustard.
  4. Let cook about 2 minutes before adding the beer.
  5. Reduce the flame and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. After turning off the heat, add the chopped pickles on top.

If you eat with rice it’s a good main meal but you can also eat as a late snack just with bread.
