Chicken Strogonoff

Ingredients (2 portions):

  • 300g chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 100g of bacon, cut into strips
  • 150g fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 80g)
  • 150g of cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (about 10g)
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt &  Pepper (I usually use black pepper)
  • chopped chives, for finishing touch

Follow the steps

  1. In a non-stick frying pan cook the stripped cut bacon.
  2. Put in the sliced mushrooms.
  3. When cooked, put the bacon with the mushrooms aside.
  4. Heat the olive oil in the same pan to brown the chopped garlic and cook the chicken.
  5. when the chicken is cooked, it is time to add the chopped onion and seasoning.
  6. Add the bacon with the mushrooms.
  7. Stir all together.
  8. Add the cream, the mustard and involve. Let cook for about 2 minutes.
  9. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
  10. After turning off the heat, put on top some chopped fresh chives.
