Chicken Strogonoff
Ingredients (2 portions):
- 300g chicken breast, cut into strips
- 100g of bacon, cut into strips
- 150g fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped (about 80g)
- 150g of cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil (about 10g)
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt & Pepper (I usually use black pepper)
- chopped chives, for finishing touch
Follow the steps
- In a non-stick frying pan cook the stripped cut bacon.
- Put in the sliced mushrooms.
- When cooked, put the bacon with the mushrooms aside.
- Heat the olive oil in the same pan to brown the chopped garlic and cook the chicken.
- when the chicken is cooked, it is time to add the chopped onion and seasoning.
- Add the bacon with the mushrooms.
- Stir all together.
- Add the cream, the mustard and involve. Let cook for about 2 minutes.
- Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
- After turning off the heat, put on top some chopped fresh chives.
